Throttle response has been calibrated to respond more quickly to driver commands - something that gives higher precision and better feel.

Faster gear changes
The automatic gearbox changes gear more quickly to both improve acceleration and better respond to the driver's commands, e.g. downshifts before overtaking.

Better gear precision and gear hold
The gears have also been calibrated to exploit the engine's improved midrange performance. The gearbox also avoids changes when cornering at high g-forces (where possible) for better stability.

Faster gear and engine response
The engine and gearbox have been calibrated to respond more quickly when the driver releases the accelerator. This makes the car more balanced and predictable when cornering for example.

Increased engine performance
We have concentrated the power where it is needed most - in the midrange; perfect for overtaking or when on a busy motorway. Combined with faster throttle response and gear changes, this makes the car significantly more dynamic to drive.

Engine power is not increased for some engine variants. Check with your dealer for what applies to your car.

A roof tent with a soft shell, tried and tested for Volvo cars with rails and Volvo's load carriers. The tent has room for 2-3 people.

The flat floor and plush mattress make a cosy place to sleep. The tent is equipped with a panoramic window, making you feel like you're close to nature, and with the way the tent is positioned on the car's roof, you can enjoy a high and unrestricted view with full privacy. The design with outward angled walls makes for a roomy interior with a roof height of 102 cm and plenty of space for people and equipment. The window is easy to open and fasten for airing and the mosquito net will keep the insects out.

The tent canopy is made from polyester with ripstop strengthening, a two-dimensional structure where thicker fibre is woven into thinner fabric, making the fabric more resilient and with less risk of rips spreading. The fabric is water-repellent and has sealed seams, designed to work in all seasons. The tent also comes with a removal rainfly.

The tent is transported in a rainproof cover on the roof and fastens easily and securely to the roof rack with lockable mounting brackets, thus reducing the risk of theft. The ladder is stored under the cover, with the rainfly on top and the mattress stays in the tent, so you don't lose any of your car's cargo area.

Fitting the tent on the roof rack is easy and only takes a few minutes. Unfolding the tent is also quick. Open and remove the travel cover, then using the ladder, unfold the floor and the tent will automatically unfold.

The tent should be stored in an upright or horizontal position in a dry, cool place, preferably on something soft and away from direct sunlight. The tent should be cleaned before storing.

The roof tent has gone through very rigorous climate, temperature, wind and rain testing, as well as crash tests.

When correctly positioned in the car, heating and de-misting are extremely effective.

The passenger compartment heater is equipped with a temperature restrictor, shut-off switch and supplied with a stand. For optimum efficiency it is recommended that it is positioned standing upright, using the stand, on the floor in front of the passenger seat.

The passenger compartment heater is S marked for extra safety and assurance.

In combination with an electric engine heater, a power outlet fuse protected with 10 A (2200 W) is required.

A reversible seat protection in durable material designed for the front seats of the car. The front seat protection is a practical accessory to keep at hand for when you want avoid the risk of making the seat dirty, such as after a training session or a walk in the woods. The protection is optimised for seats with seat cushion extension, but can also be used on seats without the extension.

The front and rear sides of the protection have different properties: one side consists of durable, woven fabric with high comfort and the other side has a water-repellent function. You can choose which side you want facing out when you fit the protection. Both sides can be easily wiped clean after use.

Installing the tablet holder onto your head restraint is a simple operation. All you need to do is to fit the bracket to your head restraint and then attach the holder. Then you can easily dock your iPad® or Samsung® Tablet into the holder.

Can only be used in combination with a protective case in hardwearing material that protects your tablet against wear, provides additional anti-slip protection and perfect positioning. Must be used with the enclosed screen protector. The protective case is ordered separately.

The iPad® holder has been crash tested and meets Volvo's stringent safety requirements.

Simply pressing the button on the right-hand stalk switch for the rear windscreen washer activates the wash, cleaning the rear view camera lens quickly and effectively, whether the car is stationary or moving. Since it is integrated with the car's rear windscreen water system, the rear camera lens is cleaned every time you wash the rear windscreen.

With regular use, the washer helps maintain good visibility through the rear view camera, making reversing easier.

The rear camera washer is supplied as a complete kit with camera nozzle, tailgate handle, Y-connector, hose and cable tie.

The frameless interior rear-view mirror has a sleek and modern design that enhances and harmonises with the car's interior.

The anti-glare rear view mirror automatically dims out disturbing light from cars behind. A very practical accessory when driving in the dark.

A dashcam allows you to save nice memories from a trip and gives you an extra pair of eyes on what is happening in front of and behind your car. If something happens while driving, the camera can supply reliable documentation in video format about the event. You can also use the camera to take snapshots via voice control, a practical way of documenting interesting moments during the journey.

The dashcam is located in the top section of the windscreen and can be supplemented with a camera in the rear windscreen. Recording between the two cameras is synchronised and gives good picture quality even in poor light. The dashcam can be set so that it is automatically activated every time you start the car. It can also be controlled via the voice command, which means that you can focus on driving while also taking snapshots for fun or documentation.

The dashcam has built-in storage of up to 32 GB, equivalent to approx. 3.5 hours' recording. If required, the storage can easily be increased by an extra class 10 micro SD card. When the memory is full, the camera starts to overwrite the oldest recordings, apart from photos that have been taken and events triggered by the G sensor. Using the local Wi-Fi hotspot, the camera can be synchronised with the relevant DVR On Road app. Settings such as local language can be changed in the app and it is also possible to view recorded material directly in your smartphone. The DVR On Road app is free and available for both iPhone and Android.

With a digital interior rear view mirror you have a rear view mirror that shows a wider view of what is happening behind your car.

The digital interior rear view mirror has a camera linked to it, which is fitted at the rear of your car and which then displays the image in the rear view mirror. If the camera is not needed for all situations then the mirror can also be used as a traditional rear view mirror with a standard reflected view. It is easy to switch between the two settings, camera function and mirror function.

The digital interior rear view mirror makes your driving more comfortable in the dark by controlling reflections from flashing or strong light from vehicles behind you.

The camera shows three times as much view behind the car as a traditional rearview mirror does and also makes it possible for you to see even if visibility is obscured by the contents of the cargo area or rear seat passengers.
